Pivot – Program Coordinator

Last Date to Apply:

January 30, 2021

Pivot works directly with high school students to facilitate their transition into post-secondary studies. To accomplish this, we develop extracurricular programming for high school implementation. Our program is geared towards marginalized students who, upon participation, can use this experience to gain industry knowledge outside of their academic curriculum, and support their post-secondary applications.

Pivot is seeking a Program Coordinator to organize and test our pilot investment program with a cohort of secondary students in Canada. Their primary role is to prepare and deliver program assets to student participants and work with them to understand and address any concerns with the curriculum.

Duties & responsibilities

  • Create slides detailing an overview of each section of the curriculum to function as "review" classes
  • Liaise with stakeholders to optimize curriculum based on questions or concerns from program participants

  • Must have basic financial knowledge and interest in financial markets
  • Can commit 5-6 hours / week
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Open to constructive feedback and ability to apply learnings to primary activities
